What does each payment status mean?
Approval and payment are separate milestones. “Offer ready” means there is an offer to review and no payout is confirmed. “Payment submitted” means an instruction has been sent, not that money has arrived. “Payment received” means receipt has been confirmed, so you should see the transaction in your own bank account. “Payment delayed or under review” means more information is needed before a final outcome. Read the payment status as well as the credit decision, and do not make a time-critical purchase on the strength of an application or an approval message.
| Update | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Offer ready | There is an offer to review. No payout is confirmed. |
| Payment submitted | A payment instruction has been sent. Check whether receipt is confirmed. |
| Payment received | Receipt has been confirmed; check the transaction in your bank account. |
| Payment delayed or under review | More information is needed before a final outcome can be confirmed. |
What can affect the timing?
Outstanding checks, manual review, bank cut-off times, weekends, public holidays and payment-provider availability can all delay a transfer. A confirmed DebiCheck mandate is not evidence that money has been sent.
While you are still waiting
Check whether any action is requested. Keep the application or payment reference and the time of the latest update. Ask whether the instruction is pending, failed or completed, and when to check again. Do not submit another application simply to repeat a payment.
No instant, same-day or after-hours payout time is promised anywhere on this site. See the full sequence of steps.
